About me.

Hello and welcome. I am Hampshire born and bred and live in a small village just outside Andover. I have three Rescue German Shepherds and a Motorhome to have holidays away with them and my fiancé, Mattie.

Throughout my School years I was always drawing. It was a passion from a very early age. During my last year at School a teacher who disliked my style of drawing, marked me down in exams and actually told me I simply was not good enough to draw portraits.

In 2014 two things happened, I was made redundant after 26 years and, I fractured my foot the week I was made redundant. Sat at home, bored and restless, my foot in plaster, I once again picked up a pencil and drawing pad and starting drawing. In October 2014 I attended a course run by the fabulous Graphite Pencil Artist, Mike Sibley. I learned so much from Mike and started doing commissions for people, of their pets. In May 2016 I attended a three day colour pencil training course run by the award winning Artist, Jonathan Newey. I now work in graphite, colour and pastel pencil.

In April 2015 I started my business, Scullywoofwoof. A combination of Pet portraits commissions, along side pet sitting in people’s own homes.

I offered Mugs and cushions to the clients I had been commissioned to do portraits for and this expanded in late 2016 to a range of products with some of my other artwork.

I have had a FB page from the beginning but now, in 2018, it is time to expand my business and have a website presence where I can sell my products online.

I hope you enjoy looking at my work,
